To worship Xuanyuan (Huangdi or Yellow Emperor's given name) on the third day of the third lunar month is a cultural tradition of the Chinese nation. An online ceremony to honor Huangdi will be held on April 3 in Xinzheng, Henan, Huangdi's hometown, the local authority said on March 25. The ceremony is an important platform for promoting the Yellow River culture and better telling the Yellow River story to sustain historical legacy for boosting cultural confidence.
