July 18 marks the 10th anniversary of Zhengzhou's China Railway Express freight train service. So far, Zhengzhou has handled over 7,500 such freight train trips since the service started in July 2013.
Over the past decade, the operation frequency has jumped from once per month to a maximum of about 200; the speed has accelerated from 80 kilometers per hour to 120; and the cargo collection and distribution range has expanded from 500 kilometers to 1,500. Powered by the international logistics routes opened to Europe, Central Asia, the ASEAN, Japan and South Korea, it has not only provided services for over 140 cities in more than 40 countries, but also brought business opportunities to tens of thousands of Chinese and international enterprises. With its business expanding continuously, Zhengzhou's China Railway Express freight train service has been playing an irreplaceable role in the economic and trade exchanges between Asian and European countries.
Zhengzhou is ready for the next decade in freight train service.
