Henan-made products sell all over the world

Henan's manufacturing products with competitive advantages such as the buses made by Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co., Ltd., the world's first U-shaped shield tunneling machine, the world's largest hydraulic support, etc., and its latest achievements in economy, social development, agriculture, technology, the Belt and Road Initiative, etc., are presented in China Pavilion in the form of a video or a picture.

"The UAE is an important partner of China under the Belt and Road Initiative, and the cooperation between Henan and the UAE has also expanded gradually in recent years," said Liu Bing, deputy director of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Henan Sub-Council.

Statistically, from January to October, trade volume between Henan and Arab States reached 19.38 billion yuan, of which 6.4335 billion yuan was contributed by the trade between Henan and the UAE, up 30.7 percent from a year earlier. By the end of November, the UAE had invested 38.6 million U.S. dollars in 15 projects in Henan.

Besides, Henan Nile Machinery Co., Ltd., reached an agreement on gold ore dressing with a Qatari company, while Zhengzhou Suiya Import & Export Co., Ltd., with a German company.

"Through cooperation at the Expo Dubai 2020, Henan's competitive manufacturing industry is bound to go global faster," said Liu Bing.

Henan's Air Silk Road welcomes a new strategic partner

The activity of "Henan Week" is an important opportunity for Henan to expand opening-up, and to increaseits participation in world affairs, cooperation with other countries and global influence under the Belt and Road Initiative.

At the opening ceremony, Henan signed a series of economic and trade cooperation agreements totaling 269 million yuan with other countries and related enterprises, covering aviation, trade, outbound investment, project development, etc.

It is worth noting that Henan Airport Group signed an MOU with Etihad Airways. The two sides will work on an air cargo route between Zhengzhou and Abu Dhabi, capital of the UAE.

"It will be the first air freight route between Zhengzhou and the UAE, which will also exert a positive influence on the markets of Europe, Africa and Central Asia," said a source from Henan Airport Group.
